HealthFirst opened it's doors in 1992 and has been going strong ever since.
What type of training do I need?
We offer American Heart Association BLS for HealthCare Providers and American Safety and Health Institute CPR and First Aid certification. If you're not exactly sure what you need, please feel free to contact us and we can help you figure it out very quickly. If you need this for employment, be sure to check with your employer for any of their requirements and then read each description of our courses to help you with your decision. Do you offer group discounts?
Yes we do. The pricing depends upon the number of participants you have and the type of training needed. Please click here to fill out a group quote request or contact us.
Do you offer on-site training for groups?
Yes, we travel all over MD, DC, VA and DE. We bring all needed materials with us, including a manikin for each participant. All you need is the space and people! We are available Monday through Saturday, anytime (first come first serve, so schedule early). Contact us for more details or click here to fill out a group quote request.
How much does the training cost?
The cost depends upon the type of training needed, the number of participants, and the type of agency involved. Individual prices are here. For a group quote, please fill out the form found here.
How long does the class take?
Classes average between 3 and 6 hours, depending on whether participants are initial or renewal students.
I am looking for a class for just myself. Do I have to have a group?
No, we offer a variety of classes for individuals to choose from in our Frederick training center. Please click here to see our individual class offerings. Just a reminder, you can also set up a group class with the option of the training being held at your site or at our location for a discounted rate.
When will I receive my card?
You will receive your certification card as soon as you have completed the course. Normally, they are distributed at the end of the class. If not, they will be mailed.
What if I lose my card?
Contact us. We keep records of everyone who attends our classes. Give us as much info as you can so we can verify your completion of the course (ie: month, year, location). Please note, there may be a replacement fee.
