American Heart Association BLS for the HealthCare Provider –
ADULT, CHILD & INFANT CPR and AED
Description: The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer) and use of the bag (mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.
Intended Audience: Healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel.

Certification Issued: 2-year American Heart Association BLS for the HealthCare Provider certification card
ASHI Community and Workplace CPR & AED -
ADULT, CHILD & INFANT and AED
Description: This program is intended for community members and people who do not work in the healthcare field but are required or just desire to have knowledge and skills.
Intended Audience: Emergency response teams in business, industry, and government, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, babysitters, personal trainers and others.
Required Student Materials: Provided at class
Certification Issued: 2-year CPR/AED completion card
ASHI Basic First Aid -
Description: With this program, participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies including victim assessment, bleeding, burns, shock, severe allergic reactions, asthma, sprains, broken bones, head, neck and back injuries, diabetes, wounds, seizures, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, hypothermia, stings, bites, poisoning and any other topics related to your environment.
Intended Audience: Individuals who require or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children or both; including emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, babysitters and others.
Required Student Materials: All materials are provided at the class.
Certification Issued: 2-year completion card
