Description: With this program, participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies including victim assessment, bleeding, burns, shock, severe allergic reactions, asthma, sprains, broken bones, head, neck and back injuries, diabetes, wounds, seizures, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, hypothermia, stings, bites, poisoning and any other topics related to your environment. This ASHI course provides the same level certification as AHA HeartSaver.
Intended Audience:
Individuals who require or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children, or both, including:
Emergency response teams in business and industry, School bus drivers, Adult residential care personnel, Child care workers, Teachers, Parents, Babysitters.
Required Student Materials:
All materials will be provided at the class. Access to a digital book will be included.

2-year certification card
